It was a beautiful day, a hard fought battle and a valiant effort by all who took part. On behalf of everyone at Media Trust, we would like to say a huge thank you to all who participated in the 2017 Media Industry World Cup on Saturday!

We had 32 amazing teams with their eyes on the prize but of course on the day there can be only one winner. Congratulations to Content Media Corporation, who became our 2017 winners and took home the cup and of course to Copenhagen Youth Project, our charity team sponsored by Rattling Stick who were runners-up. The shield competition was between BT Sport and AMV BBDO, with BT Sport triumphing.  Well done to all of you and to everyone who took part.

We raised an incredible £28,900 and it is events such as this that allow us to continue our work. Media Trust has a simple central idea: to connect the country’s most skilled and creative storytellers with the stories that need to be told.  We do this by inspiring companies and individuals in the creative, media and advertising industry to volunteer their skills, time and creative power to mentor and train charities, communities, and young people. We really believe that if this industry pulls together we can change lives and create social impact.

Thank you once again for taking part on Saturday and for all of your amazing support. We couldn’t have done it without you and we’ve already started planning for next year so email us now to let us know if you’ll be coming back.
